The Browning BAR traces its history to John M. Browning’s original design developed for the U.S. military during the First World War.
Features include a detachable 10-round box magazine and magazine well in place of the standard hinged floorplate design, a Grade II Turkish oiled walnut stock with shim adjustments for cast on/off and drop at the comb, a fluted barrel, and an Inflex recoil pad. The action bar and inertia block connection are designed to help minimize barrel vibration and support consistent accuracy.
