The XR920 Elite features a full-size frame paired with a shorter slide. The pistol incorporates a textured frame, undercut trigger guard, extended beavertail, recoil control ledge, and a Picatinny accessory rail for mounting compatible lights or lasers.
The XR920 Elite utilizes a passive three-safety system. The articulated trigger safety prevents rearward movement of the trigger unless the trigger is pressed. The striker is blocked from forward movement by the striker block and trigger bar until the trigger is pressed.
Directional serrations on the front, rear, and top sides of the slide provide additional gripping surfaces for slide manipulation, chamber checks, and malfunction clearing.
